Games Convention

Wer mit Videospielen nichts am Hut hat, kann wahrscheinlich mit dem Namen “Games Convention” anfangen. Doch dabei handelt es sich um die wichtigste Messe ihrer Art weltweit.

Someone who doesn’t like videogames, won’t know the name “Games Convention”. But for the others, that’s the most important event for games worldwide.

Wie jedes Jahr seit 2002 lädt Leipzig Videospiel-Begeisterte in seine Messehallen ein um die neuesten Entwicklungen der Spieleentwickler zu beobachten und oft auch selbst anzuspielen. Mit 183.000 Besuchern an vier Messetagen hat sich die Games Convention zur größten internationalen Messe für Videospiele gemausert. Heuer erwarten den Besucher 410 Aussteller auf einer Fläche von 115.000 m² alle Innovationen für die PlayStation 3, die Xbox 360, den Wii, all die Handhelds und natürlich den PC.

More than 400 exhibitors show their innovations for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, NDS, PSP and of course, the PC, at an exhibition hall with a size of 115.000 m²
